Resource/Gap Analysis – Completed a service/program assessment and gap analysis for programs/services/grants that serve youth in care. As a community/State/Nation, we do not track and ‘share’ data well.

Data Collection - Developed a data collection system for youth transitioning out of care. Iowa Child Advocacy Board’s Foster Care Review Board will collect data on youth in care to help monitor the progress and problem areas in Dubuque. They will begin collecting data when a youth in care turns 16 until his/her final review of his/her transitional plan. This will allow Dubuque to understand what areas our youth are doing well in and which areas we need to focus developing more resources to assist our youth.
