The CFGD annually accepts Letters of Intent in mid-June. Letters of Intent are reviewed and proposals that match the funding priority for the current grant cycle may be invited to submit a full grant application in late July. Applicants may be interviewed following their submission of the full proposal. Grant awards are announced in October at the CFGD's annual luncheon. The 2010 funding priority has yet to be determined.

The YAPPERS annually make grants to youth-serving organizations in Dubuque. Applications for this unique, youth-led grant cycle are available in February and due in March. Awards are announced in April.

The Women's Giving Circle anually invites non-profit organizations serving Greater Dubuque to complete an application requesting the treasure, time and talents of Circle members. Grants are awarded to organizations which provide a service to individuals that creates a bridge to self-sufficiency and/or significantly addresses barriers to opportunity. Applications are available in May and due in June. Awards are announced in July.

The Theisen’s More For Your Community corporate grant program annually makes grants to all 17 Theisen’s store communities. The program grants to agencies to jumpstart and/or sustain projects which most effectively serve the basic needs of families and children, which includes food, shelter, education, safety and health. Applications are available in September and are due by October 31st. Awards are announced the following January. |

Mediacom's Arts and Culture Grant Cycle provides funding annually to Dubuque arts and "non-arts organizations" to support a distinct aspect of the organization’s arts activities, such as a one-time event, a single production, an exhibition, an educational seminar, or series of related arts activities, such as art classes or training sessions. Applications are made available in June and are due by August 31st. Award winners are announced at the Annual Luncheon in October.
