Triston Chandlee’s unique love for family, friends, his school, and just life in general was inspiring to all who knew him. He was the person who always included everyone, always seeking out anyone who was being left out of a fun event and making sure that they felt like part of the group. More than anything, Triston is remembered for his light-hearted, fun-loving nature, incredibly infectious smile and uncanny ability to just make your day better when you were around him.
Who Triston was can best be summed up by something he once said when going through his battle with cancer. His doctor told him one day during a chemo treatment that the kind of cancer he had, only 1 in a million kids would get. His reaction… “Well, then I’m glad I am the one who got it so that a million other kids don’t have to go through what I am with these treatments”.
