Grants to Green

Inclusive Dubuque

Inclusive Dubuque is a peer-learning network of partners dedicated to creating an informed, equitable and inclusive community where all people—regardless of race, age, culture, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, class or disability—are respected, valued and treated fairly.

Project HOPE

Since 2008, the Community Foundation and the City of Dubuque have partnered to support Project HOPE. This initiative increases access to economic opportunity for all community members by supporting networks that drive systems change, expanding pathways to education and employment, and increasing access to financial institutions. 

Vision To Learn

In 2016, the Community Foundation partnered with nonprofit Vision To Learn to pilot a mobile vision clinic aimed at improving kids’ vision to help them succeed in school. The pilot program included eight Title I schools — five in Dubuque and three in Jackson County.

YAPPERS

The YAPPERS are youth grantmakers in our community. They meet to engage in teambuilding and leadership activities, to discuss local youth issues, to plan events and service projects, and to make funding decisions to support youth-serving organizations.
