Anamosa Community Foundation Grant Applications Due August 31

The deadline for grant applications to the Anamosa Community Foundation for the 2016 funding cycle is August 31. This year, $5,700 in grants is available to fund projects that directly benefit the Anamosa community. Since 2004, nearly $30,000 has been granted to local community projects. The Anamosa Community Foundation is a part of the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque.  

The Anamosa Community Foundation was established in 2004 by a group of Anamosa citizens and is dependent on private donations as a means of building an endowment fund to provide a sustainable source of funding to benefit the Anamosa community. Donors who make gifts of $50 or more to this fund can also take advantage of the Endow Iowa 25% State Tax Credit, which can be coupled with federal tax deductions.

Grant applications can be submitted online at http://www.dbqfoundation.org/anamosa or picked up at Citizens Bank in Anamosa.

Grant applications must be submitted online or delivered to the Anamosa Community Foundation at P.O. Box 137, Anamosa, Iowa 52205 by the August 31 deadline.
