Clayton County Foundation for the Future Awards $13,000 to Local Nonprofits on April 9

The Clayton County Foundation for the Future (CCFF) awarded $13,179 to area nonprofits April 9 at its annual grant celebration.

“This celebration is a great way to discover how the Foundation’s endowments are making a difference for the causes and communities you love,” said Foundation Executive Director Darla Kelchen. “These projects that people do, and the dollars donors leave behind will work for many years to come.”

“The purpose of CCFF was to raise permanent endowments to be invested and pay out for the benefit of our people and communities,” said CCFF Board Chair Harry Blobaum. ”This year, the board’s own endowment for the county will support several grant awards. In addition – donors Colleen Darby, Craig and LeAnn Watson, AJ Speigel, and Dr. Andy and MJ Smith will also direct some of their endowment payouts to these grant projects. “
