Deadline for Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque 2018 Community Impact Grant Applications is February 18

The Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque (CFGD) is now accepting 2018 Community Impact Grant applications. Nonprofits working to build the capacity of their organizations are invited to apply for grant awards of up to $6,000.    

The application and guidelines are available at www.dbqfoundation.org/community-impact. Applications are due February 18 at 11:59 p.m.

Community Impact Grants aim to support capacity-building efforts at nonprofits in the CFGD service area. Eligible projects will fit into one or more of the following categories:

  1. Training & Development: Proposals that build the staff and board capacity at nonprofits through training, education and professional development opportunities.
  2. Collaboration & Coaching: Proposals that build collaborative efforts with other local nonprofits, community groups and peer organizations.
  3. Research & Planning: Proposals that support research, data collection, assessment and planning to support organizations in understanding community needs and determining their best strategies.
  4. Operational Strategy: Proposals that support the expansion of programs through staff or technology or support organizational planning such as succession strategy.

Eligible organizations include nonprofits, public institutions, and emerging groups organized for nonprofit purposes that are located in and serve Clayton, Clinton, or Dubuque counties.
