Duster Joins Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque as Director of Community Initiatives

The Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque (CFGD) is pleased to announce that Paul Duster joined the staff as Director of Community Initiatives on April 2.

In addition to connecting donors to causes they care about and strengthening nonprofits, CFGD brings together community members to create greater good, addressing complex community challenges to build a thriving, resilient region. Duster will oversee the community initiatives that explore, define and coordinate community leadership opportunities that enhance the Community Foundation’s effectiveness in supporting a vibrant community.

Duster brings a strong history of organizational leadership, program management, and development and leadership of diverse teams. His ongoing engagement in a wide range of both corporate and community programs will be an important asset as CFGD continues strengthening initiatives focused on economic opportunity, academic achievement, and equity and inclusion.

Duster came to CFGD from Lands’ End Business Outfitters where he was most recently a National Accounts Program Manager. Prior to that, he worked at Prudential for more than 20 years where he most recently served as a director in the Client Experience Office. Duster holds a Master’s in business administration from the University of Dubuque and a Bachelor of Arts in marketing and computer science from Loras College.
