Neises joins Community Foundation as Heart & Soul Coordinator

The Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque (CFGD) is pleased to announce that Jason Neises joined the staff as Heart & Soul Coordinator on June 15.

Neises will lead the effort to implement the Orton Family Foundation’s Community Heart & Soul™ community engagement method in CFGD’s seven-county rural affiliate region, beginning with the pilot community of Monticello, Iowa. This work is supported by a two-year grant from the Orton Family Foundation as well as a grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Community Development Initiative (RCDI) program.

Neises came to CFGD from Iowa State University Extension and Outreach where he served as program manager. Prior to that, he worked as vice president of tours and guest services for the Chicago Architecture Foundation. Neises holds a Bachelor’s in political science and history from the University of Northern Iowa.
