Compass to Care is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization whose mission is to ensure that all children can access life-saving cancer treatment. We carry out this mission by scheduling and paying for all travel arrangements to get children from their homes to the hospital for treatment.
With the support of our generous donors, we are able to make all medically-necessary travel arrangements and provide financial assistance, for travel expenses, including: airfare, car rental, gasoline, lodging, parking fees, tolls, train/bus fare, and/or taxi fees.
Our beneficiaries are children under the age of 18, who have been diagnosed with cancer, and who are in an active treatment regimen. They must also be traveling to a facility that cares for pediatric oncology patients and is at least 60 miles from their home. The child's parent(s) or guardian(s) must also demonstrate a financial need.
