Those who knew Lori Heims would describe her as selfless. She went out of her way to make sure others were cared for before thinking of herself. This endowment fund was created with the purpose of continuing her caring legacy for future generations.
She was born on September 6, 1960, in Manchester, the daughter of Duane and Irene (Linderwell) Weyant. Lori was raised and educated in Edgewood, graduating from Edgewood-Colesburg High School in 1978. She remained around the Edgewood area her entire life, raising three daughters (Amy, Melissa, and Alison) and working at various companies throughout the community. Lori had many interests, including collecting antiques, gardening, decorating her home, and spending time with her family and friends. She passed away on July 3, 2016.
To commemorate her life, her family created this endowment to support community organizations whose missions reflect the values Lori held.
