LincolnWay Community Foundation

Inspiring communities by connecting people with causes and resources for all generations.

LincolnWay Community Foundation assists in charitable projects and programs that contribute to the quality of life in rural Clinton County, Iowa. The Foundation provides grants, scholarships, tax benefits and administration services to organization churches, schools and individuals with charitable intent in the following areas: Calamus, Charlotte, Delmar, DeWitt, Goose Lake, Grand Mound, Lost Nation, Low Moor, Welton and Wheatland.

Ways to Give

The LincolnWay Community Foundation works with individuals, families, business and organizations to meet their charitable giving goals. We offer a wide range of giving options that can be used to establish or add to a charitable fund. Establishing your own named fund does not require great wealth and, it is not complicated either. By working with the LincolnWay Community Foundation, you can provide ongoing support to charitable organizations during your lifetime or as a lasting legacy-or both!

Our community benefits from both large and small gifts given through the LincolnWay Community Foundation. Becoming a donor is an easy way to help support the community you have lived in, loved, or raised your family. There are many options and we invite you to find the option that works best for you.

Youth Philanthropy

Giving Organization for Iowa Teens is part of a nationwide trend that allows local teens to lead and support change through philanthropy. An offshoot of LincolnWay Community Foundation and River Bluff Foundation, G.O.4.I.T. is comprised of 9-12 grade students recruited from each high school in Clinton County.

G.O.4.I.T meets once a month from September to May to identify community needs and address emerging issues. They distribute annual grants to local non-profit organizations after evaluating grant requests and learning various agencies’ missions.

Why youth philanthropy?

Youth philanthropy programs like G.O.4.I.T. provide opportunities for young people to develop the skills and the knowledge they need to become better students and informed citizens. Philanthropy programs also increase the chance for young people to play active roles in their communities in the future.

For more information on G.O.4.I.T. call 563-659-5039 or e-mail: pkmh@iowatelecom.net
