Amy Manternach Joins Community Foundation as Director of Development

The Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque (CFGD) announces that Amy Manternach will join its staff in a new development director position on September 4.

In addition to supporting nonprofits and providing community leadership, CFGD works with local donors to connect them to the causes they care about most. As development director, Manternach will build relationships with these donors to ensure that their gifts are as effective and meaningful as possible.

“We are thrilled to welcome Amy to our staff,” said CFGD President and CEO Nancy Van Milligen. “Her impressive experience in relationship management combined with her knowledge of our community make her a perfect match for this position.”

Manternach previously served as vice president of retirement service and site lead for Prudential Retirement’s Dubuque office with over 500 employees located in Dubuque. She was also responsible for the Relationship Management and Client Transition organizations with staff in Scranton, Pa.; Glendale, Calif.; Woodbridge, N.J.; and Hartford, Conn. Manternach has held a number of leadership and client-facing positions  at Prudential over the past 20 years.

Manternach holds a B.A. degree and an International Business Certificate from the University of Iowa and serves on the boards of the Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce and Greater Dubuque Development Corporation.
