Inspiring People Series Rescheduled for February 8 Due to Severe Weather

DUBUQUE, Iowa--Due to severe winter weather predicted through the evening, the Inspiring People Series hosted by Inspire Café scheduled for Thursday, January 11, has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 8, at 7 p.m.

This free event will feature participants in the “I’m a Dubuquer Campaign.”

“Attendees can expect to hear from each individual about what it means to them to be a Dubuquer and how Dubuque has inspired their journey,” said Inclusive Dubuque Coordinator Katrina Farren-Eller. “The Inspiring People Series aims to create and celebrate inspiration. These monthly presentations are offered as informal and intimate exchanges for the open-hearted and curious. They’re presented in a living-room like setting, that leaves you moved and inspired.”

The “I’m a Dubuquer” campaign was launched in July 2017 as a way to encourage the community to expand its imagination of what it means to be a Dubuquer. Through a partnership with Inclusive Dubuque and the Telegraph Herald, the campaign featured more than 40 community members from all walks of life through storytelling, photos and video.
