Lauver joins River Bluff Community Foundation

The River Bluff Community Foundation welcomes new advisory board member Dennis Lauver, owner of a local real estate firm. Lauver follows in the footsteps of Dave Sivright, who served on the board for six years.

Lauver has 25 years of experience working with Chambers of Commerce in Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas. “It is great to work with others to make communities a better place to live, own a home and raise a family,” he says.

In 1999, Lauver moved to Clinton to serve as president and CEO of its Chamber. “I have known many of the Community Foundation advisory board members since then, and I have seen their commitment to working together to solve problems and move the region forward in a positive direction,” says Lauver.

In his free time, Lauver enjoys golfing, reading, church activities and relaxing with family.

“We are excited to have Dennis join the board,” says Community Foundation Advisory Board Chair Dave Pillers. “During his career in Clinton, he has built relationships with many local leaders, positioning him as a great asset to our work of serving nonprofits and building endowments.”

“I look forward to the opportunity to improve the region by connecting people and resources to make a positive impact for everyone,” says Lauver.

Carol Machael, a River Bluff Community Foundation founder, completed her board service as well.
