River Bluff Community Foundation welcomes new board member Tara Bellich

Clinton, Iowa— Clinton resident Tara Bellich, a trust officer at Clinton National Bank, has joined the board of the River Bluff Community Foundation. She’s passionate about making an impact in the community where she grew up and is now raising her son.

The River Bluff Community Foundation's mission is to build endowments, serve as a resource for community needs, and assist donors in creating giving options. Bellich sees the value in the Community Foundation’s vision to encourage philanthropy, educate the community on the long-term impact of institutional and individual endowments, and provide leadership on community collaboration and partnership.

“Working in the financial sector, I see there’s a need for charitable giving in our community,” said Bellich.

Bellich brings a fresh perspective to the River Bluff Community Foundation with her background in banking, experience working with local youth, and a new network of connections.

She volunteers as an instructor for the Junior Achievement program at Prince of Peace Catholic School in Clinton and also serves the Clinton Chamber of Commerce as a member of the events committee. In her free time, Bellich enjoys spending time with family and friends, riding bicycles with her son and attending his baseball games, traveling, and visiting museums.

The Clinton native appreciates the park system, bike trails and other entertainment activities in her city. She’d like to see continued revitalization of Clinton’s downtown and housing stock, more inclusivity and retainment of more of the city’s graduating youth.

“We are excited to have Tara join the board of the River Bluff Community Foundation,” said the foundation’s board president, Dave Pillers. “Her breadth of work experience, community involvement and knowledge will be a significant asset to the bard and will prove beneficial in assisting us to address the needs of the Clinton community.”
