Mentor Dubuque
updated: 10/29/18
Background:
We do not have a formal board. Instead we have an advisory council.
Our mission is to create and support one to one mentoring relationships between youth facing challenges and caring adults to positively impact lives.
Mentor Dubuque recruits adult volunteers to mentor youth. Each adult is paired with one child and the match is asked to spend 4-5 hours together each month. The match engages in healthy, positive activities and the mentor serves as a role model.
The advisory council helps support our mission by helping us recruit mentors and by planning fundraisers.
